The fest’s board of advisers includes Academy Awards producer Gil Cates; multihyphenate Jerry Lewis; “The View” co-host Joy Behar; thesps Susan Lucci, Joe Piscopo, Richard Belzer and Jeffrey Ross; “Today Show” weather forecaster Al Roker; and producers Tom Fontana and Mace Neufeld.

“The Friars doesn’t have denture cream on the menu,” said Mr. Corey’s longtime agent, Irvin Arthur, 81. “It probably should.”

Performing Arts students benefit from Friars initiative.

The Friars Club is celebrating its 100th anniversary June 14 by rededicating its elegant, mortgage-free English Renaissance town house on 55th Street off Fifth Avenue. It is also marking the publication of its official biography.

The club has admitted seven women: the performers Liza Minnelli, Joan Rivers and Brooke Shields; the president and chief executive officer of Broadcast Music Inc., Frances Preston; the president of Filmworld Television, a distribution company, Beverly Partridge; an independent television commercial producer, Jeanne Harrison, and the president of the Outer Critics Circle, Marjorie Gunner.
